fh aisle walk?

Does anyone else’s fh want to walk down the aisle? My fh will be doing this but I also think maybe it is a little outside of the norm. It’s his wedding too so ultimately I want him to be able to do what he wants to do.

It's not that unusual. I've been to a couple of weddings where guys will walk down the aisle because there was nowhere for them to come in on the side.

It was fun and comforting because we were both nervous and we didn't have a wedding party or parents walk the aisle so it made sense for us to do it together!

My H walked down the aisle. We had my brother escort my parents, then BMs and GMs walk down together, then him, then me. His parents are deceased so he walked alone and I chose to walk alone. He picked out his own special walking down the aisle song too. I really dislike the tradition of the groom just sneaking in the side and standing up there like he’s just a random joe shmo that nobody cares about, it’s not “the brides day” it’s both of our day and we each deserve an equally special moment in the spotlight.

Mine is with his parents after his grandparents walk down the aisle. I think it is important that he is also honored on that day, and that his family has that moment with their son. Ultimately, they are "giving him away" too.

It was sweet & comforting because we were both nervous. Plus, more pics of us.
