Female Groomsman?

Hi! My FH is adopted and we found his birth mother. He has siblings and has been creating a relationship. He wants to ask his sister and brother to stand up, but wants them on his side. Has anyone ever had a female groomsmen? I have no problem with it and I'm excited, but I want to make her feel...

Hi! My FH is adopted and we found his birth mother. He has siblings and has been creating a relationship. He wants to ask his sister and brother to stand up, but wants them on his side. Has anyone ever had a female groomsmen? I have no problem with it and I'm excited, but I want to make her feel comfortable and not like she has to stick with the guys.

The boys are wearing navy tuxes and my bridesmaids are wearing burgundy. I was thinking of putting her in a navy dress, but the same style and bouquet as my bridesmaids.

Any thoughts? And does anyone have pictures if they did this? I'm curious to see Smiley smile

    Yeah we had a mix of genders on both sides of our WP. it was lovely. i wasn't attached to matching outfits or boy-girl couples for the processional anyway. everyone wore shades of grey and it ended up looking gorgeous. the ladies on the GM side had bouquets, and got ready with the rest of the dudes, and my brothers came and hung out with the rest of my side. H gave all the guys on both sides ties as part of our WP gifts.

    Love the pictures ya'll! They're making me more excited.

    I think the best choice for me is to give her options for everything like ya'll suggested Smiley smile but I think I'll go with a corsage instead of a bouquet!

    Hey Future Mrs. S! My fiancé's BF is a woman, and she'll be standing next to him. Our thought was the same as yours... dress in a color to match the man, but in a style that coordinates with my bridesmaids. Happy planning!

    My FH has his sister on his side and I have my brother on my side. My brother will be in a tux matching the other guys and his sister will be in a dress matching the BM

    We are doing this too! FH's sister is going to be a bestwoman. My bridesmaids are wearing burgundy as well and the Groomsmen are doing black tuxes. We told his sister she can either wear a black tux/suit to match the men or she can wear a long black dress. She isn't sure yet which she would prefer.
