Feeling regret about my dress? Help

Hi guys! I had my second dress fitting today. Basically all that’s left is my bustle. In person I loved it and my first fitting I was in love with it but when I look at these pictures that I took today I feel like my body dysmorphia is kicking in and I’m being super hard on myself. I feel like i look horrible and it’s making me really nervous for the wedding day and wedding photos. My mom also doesn’t like that the bottom layer is nude and not white and nowFeeling regret about my dress? Help 1

I feel like I’m regretting not getting white underneath as it’s not as traditional. Really looking for some honest opinions. Does it look okay? I guess I just need some reassurance since I’m choosing not to show my fiancé and he’s usually the one that reassures me. Thank you all! Feeling regret about my dress? Help 2

    I prefer the nude underlining over white because you can see the detail of the lace better. You look fabulous. I promise that this dress is definitely traditional and you’ll look incredible on your wedding day.

    Whyyyy???? You look amazing and gorgeous! Also I love the nude underlay. I feel like it softens the tone versus white on white which just looks and feels so stark to me. Moms can be so hard to please too…I know first hand! You chose that dress for a reason. It’s romantic, a little whimsical and just absolutely lovely!

    Regarding the underlay,I agree with the others that it makes it pop.
    I honestly think some of the anxiety/second guessing of the color might be from the fact you’re in an all-white room. Once you’re in more colorful surroundings, the dress will look more white, and the nude underlay won’t be noticeable at all.

    That dress is GORGEOUS on you! The two-toned looks stunning, it makes the lace pop, and it’s a more modern yet romantic look in my opinion.


    It’s normal to have “dress doubts” so trust your gut that you know what you’re doing. Moms/friends can aggravate doubts so don’t ask for their opinions.

    The nude underlay really shows off the beautiful lace! The dress looks great on you. Try to remember cell phone pictures are not an accurate representation of how you really look and you are always your own hardest critic.

    Hugs!!! First of all I have body dysmorphia too, so I totally get it. I am a very honest person and I will say that you look 110% GORGEOUS in your dress. I see zero issues. Sometimes it’s the angles we take that throw us off too and don’t forget cameras do not do us ladies any favors sometimes. I understand what your mom means by the different color under not being ivory or white my mom said the same thing. She called it dirty dishwater. So I went with her advice and ordered solid ivory for my dress and while I love it I do regret not getting the other one. The nude/blush lining is so in right now and it is stunning. Just chalk it up to things moms say and let it go. I hope this helps you! ♥️
