Feeling overwhelmed

Hello Everyone
I’m just getting started and already I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed and honestly I have no clue on what I’m doing .. We went from let’s just go to the city hall and after have a family cookout and announce that we got married .Then it went from that to getting a air bnb and that’s really nice and has a lot of space . Last thought would be hey why don’t we plan a wedding and reception in the community center my family owns . I’ve been looking everyday for the past month for event planners and rentals and now I feel like I’m not getting anywhere. I’m having a mental meltdown

The venue is the first step, so it sounds like you have that down. Are you stressing about anything in particular?

Hi Surruntha! I'd write down each of those options (city hall & family cookout, Air BnB, community center wedding) - and list out the pros & cons for each situation! That might help give you and your fiancé(e) some clarity!!

Hello and thank you so much for responding.. I think it’s just everything over all .. I’m also dealing with my home getting damaged from hurricane IDA and going back and forth with Allstate because they were not addressing all the damage… I’ve been out of my home since August 26 2021 …. That whole situation by itself is stressful now adding that it was very hard trying to find and book vendors for photography, DJ and wedding planning.. the site is okay but really didn’t give me what I was looking for .. However I went on Facebook and found a group for people in the area where I’m having my wedding and within 5 mins of posting what I’m looking for I started to get help with everything…. so now I’m okay I’m better then okay I’m excited again and it feels really good to be happy about my wedding again … once again Thank you so much for checking in on me .. much appreciated ❤️

Thank you for all the suggestions I really appreciate it .. I’m actually in a better place now .. Everything all at once just had me in a bad space .. now that I’ve found someone to assist me I’m feeling better about it
