Feeling overwhelmed with honeymoon choices!!!

I know we want to go somewhere in the Caribbean islands.... budgets about 4k, my parents are paying for it but we have extra money if we need to....flying from Tampa so it is a quick flight which is nice!

But I am so overwhelmed, there are a million islands with a million hotels (ok, I know I am exaggerating) but I have no idea where to start!

I know this sounds kind of bad (in the real world) that I'm stressing where to vacation on a wonderful honeymoon...but I'm hoping brides-to-be on WW understand me! It's going to be our only big extravagant vacation for a while, and I want to make the most of it!!

Thoughts?!?!

What do you want to do on your honeymoon? Mostly relax on the beach or have fun adventures? Do you guys have a passport or do you want to stay on US territories?

I would like a little of both! Relax some on beach, pool, go to the spa ect....Then definitely adventure! Jet skis, snorkeling, boating maybe, hike if there is some volcano or something....we do live close to beach in florida so we just want something luxurious and different! And he's got passport (he is in military ) and I'm getting mine this week

I suggest the Island of Tortola or Jost Van Dyke. Both are Awesome (even in hurricane season!). My wife and I spend just over a week in that area and it was AWESOME!

Honestly, we were considering the Caribbean and I found cheap caribbean helpful. I would go in put what I wanted and it gave me everything I needed. Then I would also go to trip adviser and read the reviews (I fount their reviews helpful). The main thing is what do you want? All inclusive? Adults only? Somewhere to relax? Or, do you want something with a night life? Do you want to site see or do you like staying on a resort? There are so many options it can be over whelming.

Because you have 4k which is a good amount, you could consider going somewhere like atlantis in the bahamas. It is definitely worth the money. Lots of fun things. Different pools and water slides. Great snorkeling. Its beautiful.

I started on bookit.com (i love that site) and when I saw a good deal I looked in tripadvisor.com and looked at the travelers photos. I read reviews and just ended up picking one that way. I'm on the westcoast so I wanted to avoid the 5hrs + traveling so we went with cancun. good luck!!
