Feb 2021

Any Feb 2021 weddings out there? How are you all handling it? For us the stress has been horrible. I work in healthcare and see first hand what covid is doing. We’re stuck between cutting the list to 30-50 or moving the date which we are very against doing. We live in a northern state so outside wedding is not really a possibility. Anyone else in a similar boat?

My big wedding is March 2021 and I am also in the north. My husband and I decided that we will postpone if we have to have 50 or under for the amount of guests.

Part of us eloping in October was in case we couldn't have our big wedding in March. We knew that they were calling for a second wave so we wanted to get married regardless.

February here! We're actually going to proceed with our current plans. We've been through so much with wedding planning even before covid, we refuse to change our date for the millionth time. For those who show, our venue is prepared to take everyone's temperature upon arrival and have multiple sanitizer dispensers.

I recommend you just get married and have guests attend virtually.

Feb. 2021 bride and after our original venue cancelled on us, we went venue hunting for a new venue that basically promised me that the only way they'd cancel on me is if the whole state goes on lockdown again. We're still planning to have our original guest list, and we decided to follow COVID guidelines, by providing masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer.

We are attending a Feb wedding, in the South. To my knowledge they haven't really done anything differently. Not sure how many people will attend but I expect it to be fairly normal sized. Ours will be normal and is in April, but the reception is outdoors.

April AZ bride here. I work in a hospital & my fiancé is a firefighter/paramedic so we see it 1st hand. My fiancé & I have a Plan B set up just in case. We’re getting married on 4/3/21 regardless but the only thing that would change is the guest list which is around 80 now.

May 2021 here. We are going ahead with our wedding. We are going to have less than 75 people. We are in Florida so we are not sure what the actual limits are going to be. Governor DeSantis doesn’t seem to be wanting to shut down the state again. We will see.

    We don’t want to postpone.

Feb 2021 bride in NY here ! Been soooooo stressed. I go to the venue tomorrow to discuss options but right now it looks like either moving the date or 50 people no dancing.
Such a hard decision and very exhausting mentally.
We will all get through it Smiley smile

We’re in a similar situation. I work in healthcare as well so we’ve been planning from the beginning to just have about 15-20 people attend in person and have the rest of our guests attend virtually. We’re getting married at the end of February. Fortunately, we found an awesome coordinator who specializes in virtual wedding coordination and she will emcee the event, handle all the Zoom logistics, etc. so that has been a lifesaver. Hope you’re able to find a way to to make your wedding happen as scheduled!

Feb 2021 wedding here. Planning is going well, no issues due to Covid so far. We are in FL, and are confident DeSantis will not shut the state down. Our venue is our church and they will not cancel! 🎉

Feb 27, 2021 in NC. I am expecting another lock down any day now so although we haven’t officially made any decisions, we will likely postpone to a TBD date. We had initially said we would get married on 2/27 no matter what with family and wedding party only - but now we have grandparents and wedding party saying they won’t come/travel in Feb. Our venue also is under construction currently and will have to stop construction if we get locked down so there a chance our venue won’t even be ready by February 😬

February 2021 bride here as well. We are planning a Plan B to push the date to September and maybe consider doing a city hall on the original date as well. We figured we will see what the numbers look like in January and if the minimum is under 50 then we postpone. Im so stressed out. And I work in helathxare, so I see the what it can do to others and I dont want to effect my family for the happiest day of my life.

We're having an outside wedding in a botanical garden but again that's only an option in February because we live in the Caribbean. We're doing temp checks, providing masks and socially distancing the seating. We postponed 3 times for various reasons and it's been two years. Hell or high water covid or novid it's happening in February
