Favors

I'm not doing favors. Seem like a waste of money. IMO, no one wants something with your names/wedding date on it, unless it's your mom. I agree with others about if you're going to do it, do something edible. A wedding I went to did koozies with the B&G's names, and no one took them.

We did gourmet butter mints. They were a hit, and there are lots of cute ways you can package them with the "Mint to Be" phrase. Like many PPs mentioned, we would not have considered doing favors that weren't edible, as these usually get left behind. We also had a lot of out of town guests and need to do something that they could eat the next day or easily take on an airplane. I once went to a wedding where there were adorable succulents as the favors, but at least half of the guests tossed them in the trash later that evening because they were too difficult to take on an airplane. My recommendation would be: either edible favors or no favors.

We are doing a candy buffet as well. We are going to have Mason jars at everyones seat so they can fill them up with candy and take it home. We also bought everyone a rustic key bottle opener from Amazon. You should check out Amazon and type in wedding favors, you might find something you like for a really good deal.

My aunt is gifting us the favors to give out and we chose little honey pots with a tag that reads “she found her honey”

We did bags of popcorn for our guests. I got the bags off of amazon with thank you stickers. Some of the popcorn I popped myself and others I just got from the grocery store.
