We’re giving out seed packets to our guests. They are customized and we found them on amazon.

These were our favors. They were stemless wine glasses that said forever and always with our names and wedding date underneath. We filed them half way with m&m's in our wedding colors and topped with a cake pop. My mother-in-law offered to make our favors. My husband's sister and his brother's wife helped her. They were chocolate and vanilla. She used the black ribbon for the chocolate and the red for the vanilla so we knew the difference in flavors.

Favors aren’t a necessity, so it’s totally understandable that some people would skip them. We got married in November and hoped to have an outdoor ceremony, so we gave fleece blankets as our favors. It was cold and rainy so we got married inside, but they were still a hit.

My fiance and I are doing chocolate covered cherries in mini jars as favors! The area that we are getting married in is known for their cherries, so we wanted to incorporate that. Favors that are edible seem to be more popular, though they aren't required by any means.

We skipped favors because our wedding planner told us they are one of the biggest wastes of money in weddings since most are left. If you do anything definitely do something edible.

Wedding Wire has definitely helped me with suggestions and ideas! And luckily my 2 MOH have been helping ALOT and my stepmom has basically taken over with the alot of the planning which I don't mind at all.

I skipped them as well and don't regret it. When I am a guest, I might take an edible favor but I leave behind anything that will just clutter* my house. So, no thank you to personalized glassware, keychains, bottle openers, candles, etc.

*I realize clutter is subjective term, but I don't like extra stuff that I won't use in my home.

I’m the exact same way! I went to a wedding a couple years ago where they gave out personalized wine glasses with their names and wedding date and every single one was left!

Favors are 100% optional and I'm ok with not doing them. Edibles are best and even they get left behind. As a guest, most weddings skipped them, while others had candy or a bag of birdseed for the toss on one occasion. Use the money toward food/drink/entertainment that guests will remember.
