Will your reception be inside or outside? If it's inside, there's plenty of chocolates to choose from. You can have the hershey kisses, candy bar with a nice wrap of love on it, m & m's and so on. If you plan on having a outdoor reception in June, I don't suggest have chocolate as if may melt.

As for gifts for your attendants, you can give them the jewelry to wear in your wedding, personalized candles, ballerina slippers to wear for the reception so their feet will not hurt (get you a pair also), bath products like bath & body work or victorias secret.

These two things are my biggest issues with wedding planning as well and I am pretty much going nuts about it... I have 8 attendants and I want to get each of them something good but at the same time not spend an arm and a leg... (The guys are so easy)

And I really have NO idea what I want to do about Favors either...

I am sorry I cannot offer any suggestions, just wanted to let you know your not alone...

I got a catalog in the mail from this one site and they had so many different ideas for BM gifts and favors.

I have been contemplating this as well. We wanted to have favors that people would actually use. So, we decided on personalized post-it notes and some chocolate. One website that offers good Hersheys chocolates (big and small bars and kisses) is:

    http://weddingshop.theknot.com/weddingwarehouse/SearchMain.aspx?SrVal=chocolate+bars

They are actually Hershey's chocolates, so you know it'll be good!

As for bridesmaids, I was thinking of doing something like tote bags and inside them have their jewelry and something else small. The tote bags are on all the major wedding sites and you can find really cute ones. Then for my matron of honor who has been my best friend for 12 years, I am making a small scrapbook of her wedding that she just had. And definitely include a personal note to each one so that they know just how much you appreciate them.

I love the idea of chocolate as favor gifts. There are so many designs to choose from now. If you want more information, I can help. You can choose your design as well as the color foil. For Bridesmaids, I like the idea of some type of tote or bag, maybe something personalized or has their Monogram. They you can fill it up with special items.

    Hope this helps

Chocolate would be great for an indoor wedding but for an outside wedding chocolate may melt. My suggestion for an outside wedding would be a small packet of wildflower seeds with tied with a ribbon that goes with your wedding colors. That works great and it is inexpensive. Also, for your wedding party, I believe honeypots from Bee Natural would make great gifts. They are all handmade and unique. They can be candles or electric lamps, depending on your preference. They can be decorated for any decor and personality.

    Congrats!

Well for our wedding we are going with 2 different chocolates

(1 I pick and 1 my Fiance picks) that we are buying from See's Candy http://www.sees.com/ you can buy any of their candy by the pound.

For the gifts for my girls I decided to make them necklaces with matching earrings and I am going to buy them each a jewelry box to put them in. I copied the necklace designs from this website, however, if you are interested. http://www.amysbridalaccessories.com/

    Hope this was helpful!
