What’s an acceptable favor for guests during the pandemic?

I would skip favors. Even when they are edible, they get left behind.

Hmm I guess that’s true. Never thought about that. Thanks

I wanted to do shot glasses but my FH made a good point that everyone don’t drink so we’re going with mini hand sanitizers with a custom label to match the wedding colors and have our name and date on it.

I would use hand sanitizer or a mask--it would not be left behind. Probably best if the mask was wearable in the future. Nobody I know owns enough masks.

Also, if you want to avoid it being left behind, you can always have a favor table or basket

We’re not doing favors but we’re having chocolate covered toffee for people to snack on (after the meal & cake).

We're doing little jars of my dad's honey! Not sure why covid should affect what you do for favors... But I'll be honest, I already have so many mini hand sanitizers from the past 10 months and masks galore, so I wouldn't take that if it were a favor. I would do something small that connects to the groom and bride! Or even just cookies or baked goods to go (individually packaged) is always a safe bet!

My friend gave us hand sanitizers and a bar of soap. Loved both because we’d actually use them lol.

Hand sanitizer is always appreciated as a favor during the pandemic! Masks are nice too, but I would skip putting any wedding information on it just because you want your guests to be able to use them after the wedding is over.

Edible favors are fine during the pandemic as long as you make sure whoever is producing them have them packaged separately.

If you're looking for favors related to the pandemic, hand sanitizer or masks are great! It would be totally fine to put your wedding date/names on the hand sanitizer label, but I would avoid putting anything related to your wedding on the masks themselves (putting it on the packaging is OK though), otherwise guests likely won't use them after the wedding. Soaps or scented candles are also popular. Anything edible is usually a good idea too! I would individually wrap any food items (or secure them each in their jar or box or other packaging). Otherwise, if favors aren't in the budget, it's totally fine to skip them!

Skip the favors and save money lol but if you wanna do something, I'd take a hand sanitizer.
