We are making an appointment this weekend to choose tuxes and colors and I guess I never really thought about what my dad should wear as far as colors. Does the father of the bride match the groomsmen? I think we have decided that the guys will be wearing grey tuxes with cobalt blue ties and vests....

I've also heard of the fathers matching the mothers. I think our mothers will be wearing like navy blue dresses.

I am not a fan of overly matchy. As long as the dads are consistent with the formality of the wedding party, it will look fine. They don't have to be GM clones.
And I would skip the colored vests. They look like prom. The vest should be the same color as the suit.

Whatever he wants. My parents chose and bought their outfits themselves. FFIL says he wants to go with FH to look at rentals with him and the boys.
