Father-in-law as Gandalf?

My FFIL has Osteoporosis and some bad discs in his back. He is suppose to be walking with a cane. However, he doesn't want to "look odd." He has instead chosen to walk around with a giant staff! I am trying not to be petty about this. I am being married in The Catholic Church. This may not go down...

I am trying not to be petty about this. I am being married in The Catholic Church. This may not go down well....Especially since this man likes to defy authority figures....HELP!!!!

    Local shop. You'll need his outseam measurement I think. And this hand to floor height. They can adjust the height a bit with the rubber, but you should try to get it close.
