Father daughter dance song. HELP!

What about "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw? or "I Loved Her First" by Heartland?

Both songs are tear jerkers for me... and I'm thinking I'll use one of them for my father/daughter dance.

I asked my dad what song he wanted and he really surprised me! its very original, but has meaning for us so im going with it!

I agree. I'm having my dad help pick. I'm going to give him a few suggestions and he can pick from them or give me one of his own. I was really wanting a Randy Travis song because of memories of dancing around our kitchen, but I also really want his input.

Thanks ladies! I asked my dad what he thought about "becasue you loved me" and he agrees that it's a good one. Especially because it's one of our favorite past times singing her songs.

Glad you asked your dad! I made a list and asked my dad which one he liked, and he picked 'My little girl' by Tim McGraw. I loved her first was also on the list.

I also thought I was going to bawl during the father daughter dance, But I didn't! LOL

My dad called me one day and told me about this song from Trace Adkins, titled "Just Fishin"... it is PERFECT for my dad and I. I grew up fishing with my dad and the song is about how the little girl thinks their just fishing but how the dad is enjoying all of the moment with his little girl because he knows she's growing up and he just wants to take in all the little moments they have together... I am going to bawl like a baby during our dance. My dad and I are very close as well. Good luck!

My dad and I are dancing to My Girl by The Temptations...he used to sing that song to me as a little girl and do all the Temptations "dance moves" with it. lol
