My dad and I are estranged.

My fiancé will be dancing with his mom, and I would never dream of taking that special moment away from him.
I have two older brothers but they might not be at the reception due to a cousin on my dad’s side getting married the same day.
Does anyone know what can be done instead of a father-daughter dance?

I would just skip it unless there’s someone in your life who you really feel deserves that honor. There’s no need to replace it.

Hey there, Kara. I agree with the PP. Unless there is someone who springs to mind that you would like to have a special moment with, I wouldn’t have one just for the sake of it. Your FS can still have the dance with his mom. A ‘father-daughter’ spotlight dance is not a requirement

do you have children? you could share the dance with them if not and theres no one else you'd share that moment with, then skip it
