Hi everyone, i need song ideas for father daughter dances! I thought of “Daddy” by Beyoncé or “Dance with My Father” by Luther Vandross but they’re so cliche. Any ideas, what songs are you all using?!

I’m actually going to let my dad put his two cents in on which song he’s like to dance with me to. I don’t know if too many father/daughter songs myself and the ones I do know carry too much sentimental feelings for me.

I asked my dad for his thoughts and he didnt have any ideas.
But I found Daddy by Abby Anderson and it was perfect. Everybody loved it.

My dad and I are dancing to "La Vie en Rose" by Edith Piaf. His side of the family is French and it's a family favorite.

We danced to When You Need Me by Bruce Springsteen. My dad loves Bruce and it was perfect!

My wish- Rascall Flatts is my #1 choice right now. But i looked at "wildflowers' by Tom Petty and "my little girl" by Tim McGraw as well.

I struggled with finding a song that was fitting but not overused. I picked Then They Do by Trace Adkins like 2 days before I had to send finalized music to the DJ.
