faq page

If you had to make up a FAQ page for your guests, what type of question do you think they would ask? Of course POC (person of contact) and phone number/email, I'm doing a buffet so I'm going to add the menu on there, umm....??? I'm stumped, what would you expect your guest would ask?

Where should guests park? Is parking free? Are kids welcome?

We did parking situation, weather, where to stay, that our ceremony was going to be on grass and cocktail hour/dinner on cobblestone, that it was beer and wine only, why we couldn’t list an address for our welcome party, who to contact if there is a dietary restriction, attire, are kids invited. That’s all I can remember haha.

Below are the questions we had on our FAQ page. Hope this helps.
When will the invitations be sent out?
What is the deadline for the RSVP?
Can I RSVP via email, telephone, or online?
If I am unable to attend, do I still need to return the reply card with “decline to attend”?
What should I do in the event I can't make it? (This was the invent they RSVP'd attending, but something came up that they couldn't)
What if I move before the invitations are sent out?
May I bring someone that is not included on the invitation?
    Can I bring my children?
    What time should I arrive?
Is there free parking at the venue?
What is the attire for the wedding?
When is the earliest I can book my hotel room?
What is the check in and check out times for the hotel?
    Will there be alcohol?
What if I have a certain dietary restriction?
Can I take pictures at the wedding ceremony?
Can I request a song at the reception?
How do I make sure no one else buys the same item as me on your registry?
What if I find an item on your registry somewhere else?
What if my item is not showing up as purchased under your registry?

My FAQ covers a LOT of things--travel information, hotel blocks, restaurant recommendations, parking, the dinner that will be served (family style pan-Asian), attire, weather, alcohol (open bar), dietary accommodations, plus ones, things to do between ceremony and reception, expected behavior during Catholic mass, and the list goes on.

I like to do FAQs for any event I throw Smiley smile

What’s the dress code, are you providing transportation, what’s the weather like, where is the reception, it’s usually questions you’d think they would know.

Here are the FAQS we have! I just googled various lists and used the ones that best applied to us Smiley smile

Q: What time should I arrive?

Q: What is the dress code?

Q: When are RSVPs due? Do I have to mail back my RSVP or can I RSVP online?

     Q: Can I bring a plus one?

Q: Can I bring my children?

Q: Can I take photos during the wedding?

Q: Will there be food and drinks?

Q: Do you have a hotel room block?

Q: Is this an indoor or outdoor wedding?

Then I included this at the very end Smiley smile "Do you have a question or concern that this page didn't address? Please send us an e-mail and we'll be happy to help!"

    Hope this helps!

I would add information about the ceremony and reception if they are in different locations and if they will be indoors our outdoors, hotel room block, parking, guest shuttles, dress code, RSVP deadline, time guests should arrive to ceremony, weekend events (welcome drinks, going away brunch, etc.), if kids are welcome or not. That's all I can think of right now.
