I personally interpret the lyrics of that song differently BUT if you guys have a special meaning with it than use it! We had a friend sing "Could not ask for me" by Sara Evans.

    You must listen/watch this video

This is what we are using for my FH, two sons and myself..

Listen to the words, just touching and appropriate.

The beginning actually lists this as a unity candle/sand ceremony song.

You might also want to check out the Sand Ceremony Song written by my son Spencer Durham. You can find several versions listed on this website:

    www.sandceremonysongs.com

We have done hundreds of sand ceremonies at our venue. We never could find a song that completely captured the moment, and was short enough. (Too often the sand gets poured out well before the song is over and that can take away from the moment!) So I had Spencer to write one, and now it is being used by couples all around the world!
