Family style response cards

Christie, on January 23, 2017 at 8:46 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 6

We are starting to look into invitations but we don't know how to word the response card. We are having family style so guests won't have a meal option, but we are concerned about people that are vegetarian or gluten free. There will be veggies served with family style, but that's not enough of a meal. Our hall has a special option for vegetarian/ gluten free needs. But how do we word this on the card to know how many people would like the vegetarian/gluten free choice over the family style meal.

You can say something about noting dietary restrictions on the back of the card.

Line at the bottom titled dietary restrictions. Or you can still do chicken, steak, veg and just count the veg check marks.

On our additional information cards, and on our website I have a line that reads "Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions" - so far 2 guests let us know they're vegan (which we knew).

I'd just put a line at the bottom of the RSVP card stating "Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions."

We're doing plated, so we have a entree choices for guests to pick and there's a spot for people to choose the vegetarian entree. We put a note at the bottom of the card letting guests know we could accommodate gluten free and I put a reminder in our website for any guests who are gluten free or who have food allergies to make a note on their RSVP card or to let us know.

I only go to weddings with no meal choice (which is apparently an odd thing, I have learned from WW!). Most of the RSVPs have a line as PP have suggested "Please Note Any Dietary Restrictions"

We put a line on the bottom of our RSVP card asking guests to indicate any dietary restrictions or allergies.
