family seating...when does groom enter.. and help with how 2 MOH enter :) Along with music and timeline :)

Tracey , on June 11, 2013 at 8:01 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 6

OK>> here is my music timeline.. but i have two issues with it. 1st I have my daughters walking in alone one by one and maybe they should have an escort? The only two men I would consider for this though would be my groom or my dad (who is walking me)

2nd. I have the prayer playing while my groom awkwardly standing there for over 4 minutes.

tart music at 12:47 pm

Prelude: While guests are arriving: 13.42 minutes of all guests, extended family and friends.

1) From this moment 4.51

2) God Bless the Broken Road 3.46

3) You Raise me up 4.45

PART of Stand by me before groom enters 1 minute

1:01pm

Groom enters and family seating: 6.18 minutes

4) Stand by me 4:09 minutes (a minute or so played before they enter)

Tony, David, and Minister to enter stage right while “Stand by me” #3 is playing) (about 1 minute into the song

Guys would be standing there for approx. 9.30 minutes before bride enters

Sherry will cue family seating to begin.

Tony's family seating begins: sisters enter about 2 minutes into Stand by me

Terrie escorted by Mark, Dena escorted by Mark, Marla and Cody, Sherry, Nick, and Tony

Should Sherry, Nick and Tony AND Marla/Cody need escorts?

5) Somewhere in time 3:09 minutes

Tracey's family seating: seating: Tracey's sister in law, neice and nephew together, Tracey's Grandma escorted by uncle Steve, Tracey's mom escorted by son Jim)

When Tracey's mom is seated ceremony will begin

1:08pm

Special Song/prayer

While all are seated (maybe ask Tracey to ask guests to pray simple short prayer before music begins)

6) The Prayer 4:41 minutes

(play all the way through before bridal party is ready for entry)

1:13pm

Processional

Processional (Rebecca and Stephanie enter)

7) Lord of All Hopefulness 1:38 minutes

Pause may be needed here?

Bride Entrance (Tracey and her dad)

8) Bridal March by Jonathan Cain 1:48 minutes

VOWS

Recessional (Tony and Tracey exit while guests are seated)

10) Wedding March

Please advise?

What I usually see is Groom seat the parents, come back and walk down the aisle with the minister....then the BM walk with MOH...then last you (with or without an escort).

Sorry i wasn't clear Kathy.. i have updated my question. Groom's parents are deceased and I have my brother escorting my side and his brother escorting his sisters.

Ok, I get it...what I have seen in that matter would be everybody getting seated first....before they enter from the one side. But, whatever makes you both comfortable. It just makes sense that everybody is in their seats before you begin the ceremony, and them entering would be the true beginning of the ceremony.

Yes, right before the bridal party makes sense. Unless you are having the BM walk the MOH down....then I would have the BM enter with the MOH seperate from your Groom and minister.
