Falling for Fall: Cozy Wraps or Homemade Jam?

Maggie, on October 2, 2018 at 11:05 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 34

It can be tough to come up with a fun idea for wedding favors - but thankfully fall gives you a ton of seasonal ideas! Would you rather gift your guests with a cozy wrap for those chilly fall nights (that they can also use at the wedding) or some delicious homemade jam to remind them to spread the love? Which fall favor is your fave?

Homemade jam! Love that I can take it home and enjoy the fruits of your labor, literally. Wraps are cute, but if it doesn't match my personal style I won't use it much.

Cozy wraps. I don't think most people would take the jam.

I think they're both cute ideas too, Donna!! If I had to choose one though, I'd probably go for a wrap. I like being cozy. Smiley sexy

I can see that! I might also be too afraid to have too much variety and then be stuck with jams I don't like. Smiley sad

I love the "to have and to hold in case you get cold" blankets! Definitely the blankets/wraps

I would probably go with the wraps, more people would use them and they would also last longer. Unless you put the jam in a cute keepsake glass that everyone would use afterwards.

I make my own jam anyway - have a couple jars of peach in my freezer and fridge right now. So I would probably do that - my family asks for it anyway.

For a wedding favor definitely a wrap, I’ll take any blankets I can get this time of year. Don’t get me wrong I love some nice jam and preserves but I like being warm better!

Agreed, Dana!!! I must have eight blankets from events I've gone to that lay at the foot of my bed. Do I need them? No, but I like knowing they're there! Smiley smile

People may use the wraps more than the jam, so I’d choose those.

Both ideas are so cute 😍🤔🤔 but I'd rather make jam than going buy 200 blankets.

Personally I would go with the wraps! If someone gives me homemade jam, I sadly end up throwing it away because I have no way of knowing if the jam was made correctly and don't want to risk getting botulism. It's a super cute idea, but that's honestly what I worry about and I think the wraps would be a safer choice =)
