Fall Wedding - Outside Ceremony?

Hello!

We have found a venue we love but the only dates that are available are Friday 10/2 or Saturday 11/7. I was hoping for fall colors and a 20-30 min outside ceremony. My Fiance would rather have it on a Saturday than a Friday but I'm worried about the weather and everything outside looking kinda dead. In case of terrible weather there is a backup plan as well. Has anyone had any luck with a November date?
