My goal was to get married at sunset for beautiful photos and it was suggested by my original photographer to marry at 5:30pm which is the reported sunset time for my area. My new photographer is saying that is too late and my photos will be in the dark! It's too late to change the time as I have already sent out invites. We decided to do a first look and get most of the staged pics out of the way because of this. My original photographer backed out (friendor, stupid mistake, shoulda read posts from you awesome ladies) 1 1/2 months before my wedding and had to scramble to find a new one. I am kinda devastated. Has this happened to anyone else? Were the photos a flop???

Ours was at 3:30pm, but almost a month ago so I don't know if I count as a "fall bride" lol.

4:30, though it looks like it's supposed to rain all day on Saturday so it may all be irrelevant for me

@A.L. I live in Texas. Last year on my wedding date it was 70+ degrees. Texas weather is so finicky. I think the predicted low that day is in the 50's. Texans kinda roll with the punches with weather. My ceremony is only 20 mins long. Short and Sweet!!!

Our ceremony is at 3:30. We are doing some party pictures before hand and the rest after the ceremony.

We are doing a first look. My outdoor ceremony will be at 4pm. Sunset is at 4:58 & our photog recommended the ceremony end around 30 minutes before sunset, just in case we have to do any last-minute photos after the ceremony.

Where the heck are you that sunset is that late? I'm just under a year after you & our sunset time is 4:58.

We are getting married next November at 4:30pm. Very short ceremony so we should be good with timing for pictures afterwards. It's the weekend of daylight savings so right before the time change luckily!
