I am curious to know how your guest count has changed due to COVID. I was holding on to hope that I could keep my 150 guest count for October, with safety measures...but no! I am not comfortable with that anymore and the health and safety of my loved ones matters most. We will drastically cut our guest list and make a decision in August of what that will look like.

That makes me feel better! If 20-30 decline, I would feel more relief. Current guidelines are: staffed mask serving all food and beverage, provided hand sanitizer and masks to guests, distanced tables, capacity at less than 50%, and wedding coordinator enforced the social distancing if needed included dancing since she claims health officials do random check-ins.

I’m also attempting to seat family’s and social groups together, people they interact with often. I also thought about sectioning the back room for his friends, left side for groom’s family and right side mine just to make it more safe. It’s somewhat easy since everyone kinda already know eachother and interacts a lot already.
Masks are currently required. It was mandated last week because we were reaching a level 4 which is the highest. Within only a week we steadied at level 3 and no longer approached level 4! Once we reach 2, is when they lift the mandate.

I’m still concerned about FH’s side. Only his parents are close by (3 hours away), everyone else on his side for immediate family are out of state. I’m concerned that it’ll be a one-sided wedding but FH keeps saying he doesn’t care but really I think he does. He says he is OK with those family members just live-streaming but it isn’t the same. I go back and forth honestly with my feelings. I still hope in the next three months things will improve and his family can come down. Our friends we all invited are all understanding if we have to downsize and know when things are better we’ll most likely have a dinner party or something to make it up to them.

We’re getting married in WV in September. We invited 250 people, and now our (mostly outdoor) venue is capping at 100. A lot of family from out of state is not planning to come....we may need to make some additional cuts. I’m thankful we can have 100....but it’s still stressful.

My wedding is in October in Florida. My count is 125 and Im hopping to keep that number. We decided not to have a bridal shower or bachelorette/bachelor party, I don't want to have any unnecessary gatherings.

We'd planned for 150 as well. We're getting married 10-10-20. St. Louis isn't getting hit with Covid as hard as some places, but it's still not great. Our church has asked that we reduce our head count to 70. Smiley sad It's pretty impossible to cherry pick which friends to include and which we can leave out, so we're reducing it to just family (about 30 people). We'll have a celebration with friends sometime next year, once the world is (hopefully) more back to normal. We're mailing out announcements that basically say "We're still keeping our date, but Covid annihilated our plans, so stay tuned for an invite to party" (worded more nicely). We're ready to start our lives together, no matter what's going on in the world!

I went from 120 - 150 to 50 Smiley sad I was told if things change they could change it to up to 7t but that's all. I called yesterday Married Livestream just in case I need that in the future. Do some research on that option too as well is never a bad idea.

Our wedding is supposed to be 10/24/20. Living here in Texas, we both felt very uncomfortable with our guest count of 150. We have decided to host a small ceremony/reception with immediate family and grandparents and maybe some more family and friends (50 people max) and have a larger reception sometime next year. We're basically starting from scratch on wedding planning.

We had a list of 155. Cutting down to about 90, probably will have 80 or less actually attend

I’m getting married in Arizona but live in PA, my wedding isn’t until April but we are coming in August. How is it there right now with everything? We have our engagement pics set for August hoping nothing gets canceled.

Hi Jaime! Covid cases is Arizona are super high right now, especially in maricopa county. Masks are mandated in public settings right now. Bars and gyms are closed. Restaurants are mandated to only have 50% capacity seating. Where are you taking your photos? I don’t think your engagement photos will get canceled since they will be outdoors Smiley smile we do have beautiful desert/mountain scenery here! Just make sure to wear your mask anywhere you go so you can stay safe and healthy.

Yeah. As soon as we figure out the big details (where and when) for the new reception and the mini-wedding, I think I will feel relieved! I hope everything turns out okay for your wedding! Smiley heart

They come to your ceremony or reception or both and set up HD quality cameras to live stream through a customized website (specially made for you) so your family and fruends that can't go to your wedding can still be with you somehow.

Ours Is Originally 60 Guests. I Dont Mind Changing It To 50 If It's Needed, But Anything Less Then That Ill Probably Postpone. So Far We Havent Needed To Make Any Changes.
