Facetime during reception

That's very sweet and I'm sure your daughter was very touched by that gesture. I know someone whose father had to miss the wedding due to a heart attack, so they had the father watch the ceremony and part of the reception from his hospital room via Skype. It's an interesting age we live in, where technology can keep people together from a distance. :-)

What a touching gesture! Technology nowadays can really be such a blessing to join people with their families. My family was unable to come with me to find my wedding dress due to distance, so I Skyped with them once I found it and it made the experience so much better.

Please pass thanks to your daughter for her service! Missing important family events is just one of probably a million sacrifices she makes for the rest of us, and I am so glad she has a supportive family who goes out of their way to still include her as much as possible--so thanks to you and your family, too!

My cousin wanted me to do the same thing for Saturday. Are you able to mute the FaceTime so that it isn't distracting?
