That is totally up to you. I won't, but that's only because I don't have my last name on fb. I also don't see why having coworkers on fb factors into the decision to change your name?!?!

I am! There's no rule that says you can't. I mean, have you seen what some people use for names on fb? I can't wait to get rid of my ex's last name so I plan to do it the night of or the next morning.

Do it! You can do whatever you want. A lot of people I know change their names immediately following the wedding. I never thought twice about it just thought "aw they are married" and moved on. (Meaning I never thought "I wonder if she legally changed it yet."

Having co workers on FB literally has nothing to do with whether you change your name on social media, and I'm failing to understand that.

I changed mine immediately! I have to wait to change it everywhere else so it felt rewarding to be able to change it somewhere instantly.

Girl change your name it's your new name for the rest of your life. It will be official but you don't have to wait for that to change it on FB.
