Eyelash Extensions?!

How many of you have tried eyelash extensions? - Either leading up to your wedding or just for everyday wear.

I've been contemplating the idea for a few months and keep going back and forth.

My eyelashes are pretty short and sparse. If I curl them and do like 3 coats of mascara I can get them to look decent, but most of the time they look pretty limp and bleh.

Everyone I see on social media (or in real life) who has gotten eyelash extensions looks INCREDIBLE, but I just feel like the maintenance will be such a bitch. Not to mention how expensive it will be to upkeep. In my area, to go to a reputable salon, it costs $150 for the initial application PLUS $100 for fill-ins every 4 weeks. Seems crazy to me, but idk.

Tbh, I just SUCK at applying falsies. I've watched every YouTube tutorial in the book and still cannot get them to last more than 2 hrs before it's dangling off and I look like a hot mess.

Thoughts? Experiences? Am I ridiculous?

I've had lashes. My friend does them for me and has a wonderful business out of it! I absolutely LOVE my lashes. They are high maintenance but in my opinion totally worth it! My natural lashes have no curl and just are straight down. Plus I don't have to worry about the mess of mascara anymore.

Great idea. Try individuals and see if you like them. I got them for my engagement photos and will get them again for the wedding.

I don't want them long term because of the price and time commitment (my evenings are already full. I don't want to add another appointment to my life)

I had them for about 6 months since as I've gotten older (55) my lashes have thinned. I loved...loved them....spent about 65 every 3 weeks getting them redone....unfortunately I developed an allergy to the glue ...even though it was medical grade glue...and my eyes would get red, puffy and scaly. I also suck at putting on false eyelashes so I just build up my mascara with several coats.

I have had my done twice in the past few years and I love them. Yes they are very expensive so I only do them for major life events. You need to find a get salon and technician to do them is key. I suggest a trail run way before your wedding. Yes for the first day or so I notice them but then of course I completely forget they are there.

I recently went to stylish brows. I have had previous experiences with more heavy ones as well but the ones from stylish brows are way better. For me it´s perfect and definitely using them on my wedding. Chek them out http://www.stylishbrows.com/eyelash-extensions/ I think you can even get a free consultation!!!
