Events during wedding weekend ?

My FIL’s are hosting a bourbon and biscuits toast at two distilleries the morning before (Kentucky with lots of out of state visitors) and a brunch the day after. It was 100% their idea and something they really wanted to do. We won’t be attending the brunch since our flight leaves early that morning. We also invited all out of town guests to our rehearsal dinner.

I hosted a 2 mile fun run/walk the morning of my wedding. Great way for out of town guests to see a new area.

I think that's a good idea for if you have a little event for them . Could be simple too like out for drinks rather than an actual big event

We’re having a “meet and greet” after our rehearsal dinner where out of town guests can come grab a drink. I’m debating on getting some local desserts for people to munch on. I think it just gives guests a) something to do and b) the opportunity to spend some time with us since the next day is going to be cray

My husbands two sisters along with their husbands will be flying in from Alabama to Delaware. I'm going to have very cool welcome bags and a large family style brunch at my mom's the day after the wedding. Also my husbands groomsmen has a underground pool is hosting a pool party for the wedding party!!

80% of our guests were in our blocked hotel. We had our rehearsal dinner the night before with 70 people, but came back to the hotel bar after & invited all our guests to that since we couldn't include everyone in the RD. It wasn't hosted, just a casual meet up we mentioned in the welcome pamphlet & on the website. We did the same for after the wedding at the hotel bar, and the next day for breakfast!
