FH and I came to Savannah Ga. yesterday went to look at the square we are getting married at. I needed to see it in person and to actually visualize it. Then today we woke up and I had my hair and makeup trial done, which turned out amazing! She changed my hair so my FH wouldn’t see the finally look! Then went to meet with our officiant (since we would rather meet her in person than Skype) so she can get a feel for us and to take notes on how our ceremony will work. Then we went to the courthouse and got our marriage license. Luckily the state of GA has no expiration on the license and no waiting period! Because this is the only time we could come to Savannah to get our marriage license as we are getting married right after thanksgiving and the courthouse will be closed that Friday we come into town. Today turned out perfectly as planned.
