Etiquette for having moh stepping down.

So I had my MOH step down because she was just mentally stressed, having break downs and also taking out all of her problems out on me (the bride). I didn't want her having a mental breakdown in front at the ceremony or in the reception. She even told me she would run away if she did have a mental break down. When I got engaged she asked me if she could be the MOH. I felt so pressured to say yes it was ridiculous. I don't know a lot of people. We just did a bachelorette thing for just me and her. My question is do I reimburse her for the small thing we did together or just give her half to cover my part at least?

Thank you all in advance

I haven't been in touch with her for a few days another friend said she is working on getting better help that was given in the first place. About her being the MOH she was begging so much to be the MOH that i felt pressured to say yes to her. She wanted the roll and obviously she couldn't do the job.

Sorry, it still doesn't make sense. I think you are leaving a lot out in this story. If you KNEW all her issues, it wouldn't have mattered how much she "pressured" you for the *ROLE, you would never have entertained the thought.

Also, there is no "job" for a MOH. It is an honorary role to honor your best of friends. If you really wanted to still honor her and the stress of her just coming down the isle is causing her to check herself into a mental institution, you can still give her the honor and have her keep the MOH title, but just have her sit in the front row.

    What "job" though?
