Entrances

We will have 6 "couples" walking in before us, so we will most likely pick one song for them to all walk in to.

Using one song for everyone, parents and bridal party. Then a different song for FH and I.

We plan to pick one song for our bridal party, parents, and grandparents to walk into. Then pick one song for us and our children to walk into.

The specific song sounds nice for each but I would imagine unless you have a family full of extroverts everyone would probably be fine with the same song for everyone. It was also be a little tricky for your DJ. Something upbeat like the Space Jam theme song or Happy by Pharrell Williams could be fun for all! Then if you and your spouse wanted your own unique song you could do that.

We're are all a huge dancing group so we're doing 1 song for the wedding party "couples" and parents and they're "dancing" into the reception. Letting them decide how they want to do that so they dont feel like they're being put on the spot. We're using it as an icebreaker to start the party.

Okay I totally had my songs picked until you mentioned Space Jam. Rethinking EVERYTHING now

We had the same group of people walk in, and choosing one song for each pair would have been exhausting! Honestly, we picked two songs for the entire entrance - one for "everyone else" and one for us. I feel like too many musical choices would make it sound choppy. But that's me.

For us, the "group" entered to: "Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZTop.

We walked in to: "Baba O'Riley" by The Who.

We'll be playing our entrances/introductions to Such Great Heights by The Postal Service (our favorite band).

**We're on the fence about introducing the kids, we may decide the day of if they're up for it or not.

We are having a really small wedding so no bridal party. Since our kids are the flower girl and ring bearer, I was thinking of just doing 1 song and having the kids walk first and then my FH and I to the same song.

FH is planning this, this is his project so that I can focus on other things..so I will be curious to see what he comes up with

Each person chose their own song in my wedding party, not each couple so I'm not 100 % sure. I'm sure it's hard to find a song that fits them both VS one close friend. A lot of people would just choose one fun upbeat song in that case! Also kids usually all walk in to one cute song like the madagascar theme song or something when I go to weddings.

I like the idea of individual songs ONLY if it will not take a lot of time!

Hi there! How is the planning of this reception entrance working out for you? Did you get song suggestions from all yet? Or are you and your FS having to pick them?

Now that we are married, FH was supposed to do this but couldnt think. SO I went to youtube and saw some entrances that i liked. I did individual songs for each person based off their personality and our theme for music for the evening was 70-80s music so that was their entrance music. It was about 20seconds of the DJ playing music and they could do whatever they wanted even if it was just walking in. The crowd was going wild from what we could hear and each person had fun with it. I cant wait to see the video

I’m having the moms,dads, flower girls,ring bearers and Groomsmen walk into levels by skrillex and the BMs will walk into where them girls at by David Guetta me and FH are walking into the chain by Fleetwood Mac at the main interlude part of the song.

Who Let the Dogs out is a cute one. I've seen in for groomsmen and ring bearers, which is gendered but hey
