Engraved rings

My FH wasn't big on engraving the bands, but were both going to also get silicone bands, and he expects to wear his a lot, and enso just rolled out engraved silicone bands. He seemed ok with getting engraved versions of those if I pick (at least his). I'm thinking of putting "Promise." because we often say "love you", "promise?", "promise.", but I'm a little afraid of it looking like a promise ring haha

Ours just have our names and future wedding date engraved in it.

My FH engraved my engagement ring with “sunflower” and he had a very small diamond put where the “o” in sunflower is. Sunflower is his nickname for me and my favorite flower.

My FH's favorite band is Metallica, we're walking down the aisle to Nothing else matters, so we're engraving his ring with our favorite quote from that song along with our initials & wedding date. He wears a size 14 ring so we have a lot of space to use lol

So my engagement ring says “love never fails” and the bands say our date

I am planning on just using our wedding date. Keeping it simple!

We haven’t picked ours yet but I definitely want to have it engraved on the inside!

I had "Love you more" engraved in his as a surprise. It's a saying that we've always used with each other.

There are two Hebrew phrases I love from Song of Songs that I'm thinking about (but haven't discussed with FZ yet): I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine or This is my beloved and this is my friend.

My FH's wedding band has an enscription on the outside in elvish actually haha. It translates to "Bone of my bone and blood of my blood"

Husband wears his grandfathers wedding ring with his grandparents wedding date in it. We are thinking of getting our wedding date next to it. My band is too thin to be engraved, oh well!

We talked about getting each other's first and middle names (his name on my ring and vice versa) way before getting engaged, but my rings can't be engraved. I think it'd be odd to only do his ring with the name so I've gotta think of something cute to surprise him with.
