This was after the proposal at our local beach. He actually proposed to me at a park on the bay where my mom was given a promise ring by her first husband when she was my age. It was the 4th of July last year and we went to the beach afterwards to see the fireworks.

Bezel set with white gold bezzle, yellow gold band, and rose gold swirls under bezzel. Also, fiance's birthstone is on the inside bottom of the band so I can always have a piece of him with me!

We decided together We had a lot of fun working with a designer to come up with the ring design. I got to give approval on the colors of the stones, but I didn't get to see the final ring until he proposed.

View Quoted Comment Yes 100% custom. I had just talked about a bezzel setting to him but had never seen one in person so I kept switching between prong and bezzel. Everytime I went to a jeweler they always looked at me like I was crazy when I mentioned bezzel setting and then would ask what I did for a living and why I wanted a setting like that if I didn't "need" one. I just love the way it looks and am soooo happy and I'm happy he stuck to his guns and went alone... I can guarantee I would have chickened out on the bezzel set if I had gone with him.

Unfortunately I don’t have the ring yet, because we’re trying to catch up financially first, but the first picture is the ring I picked out. I can’t wait to have it on my finger the 2nd picture is what I’m wearing for the time being. It’s a ring I’ve had for 10 years, but it seemed to be very fitting still.
