I actually asked my FH if he’d like a ring to wear pre-wedding but at the time it was more like getting his silicone band early and him wearing that (we are both getting silicone bands in addition to our regular rings since we are so active and use our hands a lot).

He said he would wear it if I wanted but he’s a traditionalist in this respect. I couldn’t care less, so we aren’t doing it.

BUT, if your FH would like one, go for it! There’s certainly nothing wrong with it. It jus depends on the guy.

I think it's a great idea. Do whats best for you! I'm getting my fiancé a engagement ring and then for the wedding he can wear the wedding ring

I do plan get one for my FH, but then I did propose to him. My idea is to put it into his Christmas stocking, which I made him last year. That way I can propose to him 'properly', rather than through a screen (which is what I did do, because we are a LDR).

I have spent days trawling through many many rings, but I am managing to narrow it down at least.

I ended up not getting him a ring, as I found a pendant that seemed more fitting instead. I guess we'll just be an odd couple.
