Engagement pic advice

Wear what you're comfortable in! If you guys are jeans and sneaker people then wear jeans and sneakers! You're going to end up with more genuinely happy photos if you're comfortable than if you guys try and wear things that are just for a "look." If you want to dress it up a little he could wear a button down and you could throw a cardigan over a t-shirt.

I'm wearing 4 outfits in our wedding colors. I'll wear sneakers with the sweatshirt, booties with the green shirt, heels with the dress, and wedges with the jumpsuit, so a mix of casual and kinda dressy.

My fiancé is a jeans and boots kinda guy, so he'll be wearing 3 different shirts: a long sleeve green one, a green Polo, and a tailored tan/ivory button down. He's also wearing 3 boots, his brown Ostrich skin, his black Leviathan wedding boots, and his climbing boots (he's a lineman), all with jeans.

Wear what makes you comfortable. Your photos should represent who you are, not a made up version... I would recommend one dressy-ish outfit, but in the end, it's totally what makes you feel good.

I wore a tshirt, cardigan, jeans, and knee high boots since that's what I'm comfortable in. He wore jeans, sneakers, and a sweater over a Polo tshirt. Don't overthink your pictures or it'll come across in your film and you won't enjoy the moment.

I'm going to attach some of my photos because we were the same! I dressed up my look with a pair of booties rather than sneakers and my FH wore his workboots. Our engagement shoot was the first week of December. We also used a blanket as a prop and to keep warm in between. Wear what you are comfortable in! If you aren't comfortable, it's going to show through.

If you’re a jeans and sneaker person, stick with it! You want to feel like yourself and be comfortable. You can get a new long sleeve black shirt to wear with jeans and a clean pair of sneakers. If you want to spice it up, add a fun pair of earrings. If you feel great, you’ll look great.
