Where will the shoot be taking place? Is it outdoors?

Your FS could also wear a pair of jeans and brown boots. If you decide to wear the patterned vest or the purple which is a stronger color, they could wear a neutral color shirt or button down? White or black are always great options and work with everything! Do you think this could work for your shoot?

Would this be a good style choice for your SO?

Our pictures are outside this Saturday. FH let me pick and then we went to Kohl's and found complimenting shirts for him. Our photographer requested a nicer outfit and a casual outfit. I am wearing a plum shirt for our nicer outfit and FH will wear a plaid (not flannel) shirt with that color in it. For casual, I'm doing a long gray cardigan that has yellow in it with navy blue, FH is wearing a (vertically) striped blue/white button down with jeans. He has sperry tennis shoes he plans to wear.

I recommend wearing what you guys wear what you normally would. When I look back at the photos, I wanted to think, "that was exactly us that this moment in time." My FH and I bought one or two new things for our photo shoot, but mostly wore things we already had.

(I also did spend an obscene amount of time laying out all of our clothes to match them)
