We just got our engagement photos back and I’ve been really nervous. Everything about the day went so wrong. We drove 10 hours in one day to be at this spot. I didn’t mind if it rained but the fog was so bad we couldn’t see the mountains except for when it cleared for about 30 seconds. You can see how dense the fog was in some of the photos with the “white” background. We were late getting there because of traffic and I was SO car sick which means I could barely sit up to do my make up in the car. We were rushed against the clock since we were losing daylight. I regretted my dress choice since I had put on weight and the list could go on and on. We made the best out of the day and stopped for some warm soup after being in the freezing rain. Luckily, I think we ended up with some good photos. I’ve loved looking at everyone’s posts on here. I’m excited to be able to share ours! Our photographer was Magnolia + Ember. She’s based in Knoxville, TN but travels anywhere!

These are beautiful!!! I know you seem disappointed about the fog, but I think it adds an incredible atmosphere to the photos. And the ones of you two wrapped up in the blanket are absolutely adorable--I might have to steal that idea!

Thank you! Go for it! And it’s funny because I actually had hoped for some fog for that very reason. The photos I saw at this spot had some fog and low laying clouds that I LOVED. I just got a little more than I bargained for lol. I’m really thankful for the ones that we were able to get with mountains peeking through. The majority of the time it was completely white like a couple of the pictures show.

Beautiful photos!! That dress is just stunning. We as women are so hard on ourselves and see so many wrong things when there's nothing wrong as far as anyone else is concerned. For real, these photos are sooo gorgeous! Like seriously, it's hard for me to believe all that went wrong because they look staged. I LOVE the fog... it's incredible and it really makes you guys the focal point. Your photographer is great!! You look so beautiful. Your make-up is on point, your hair looks amazing, that dress is stunning on (I feel like I want it, where did it come from?!), and these came out so great!!! I wish my engagement photos were half as good as these, haha. Beautiful, for real!!

We're our own worst critics. You look STUNNING and I love all of these photos. The darker tones of the photos seem super fitting with the location. Your photographer did a wonderful job.
