Hi! I’m looking for advice/recommendations. We are planning on doing our engagement photo shoot in March 2020. Where should we take them? And should they be indoors or outdoors? We’re pretty flexible and are willing to venture in the city (NYC)

That’s exciting! Would you like to take some outdoor shots? What will the weather be like around that time? You could always wrap up and get some if you like!

Your photographer is a great resource when scouting photo locations. If he/she is local, they often have great ideas and suggestions of where to take photos.

Have you hired a photographer for the engagement shoot yet?

We are having a Christmas themed wedding so we are doing ours at the end of March at a Christmas tree farm in Manalapan. Hoping for no rain, a little snow would be a nice touch though. Definitely use your photographer though, they did the research for me I just had to pick from their list.
