I have recently been quoted $250 for engagement photos, through a mutual friend of FH and I who is a professional. Is this a reasonable price. I was just going to have my sister take them, but was curious on prices.

    We bought an Engagement Photo Shoot session for $40 on Groupons. It was alright, no frills or elaborate pics. We got what we paid for but were happy with our results.

    I would say its a fair price! we paid $175 for an hour and got to keep our choice of 25 out of 32 edited photos. (no prints tho)

    We paid $1,150 for our engagement photos only. It was pricy but we traveled (so did the photographer) to the mountains. It was about 3 hours of hiking + photo time. We got about 100 digital images. So it depends on a lot of factors!
