Engagement photo outfits/colors?

VM hit the nail on the head. Complementary colors, but not matching. I am quite well-endowed so I feel your pain there. This is what we wore though my father tells me horizontal stripes were not my friend.

We had a couple outfit changes. Here are 2 of them. His first shirt actually had a light pattern to it, but it photographed pretty white.

Your pics are all sooo nice!!! Stealing these poses haha. Lara, I LOVE that dress! And we were thinking for one photo we could wear each other's colleges, hopefully that isn't too cheesy haha. But I love his alma mater's football team and he likes my basketball team (plus I work there, so he likes that they give me a paycheck haha). I wish we had a dog (or three!) to take photos with.

I wore a dress with a circle skirt to balance out my chest. This dress makes my waist and boobs look a lot smaller than they are! We wore coordinating colors. My photographer told me that we should not both wear blue, but the shades are different enough that it looks good.

We did 3 sessions with our photographer to capture different seasons. For the winter one I was wearing black skinny jeans and black leather boots. Then for the fall one my hubby was wearing and orange and blue plaid shirt underneath the sweater that matched my scarf (it was my favorite outfit choice)

Blue is my favorite color so that was my theme. I picked my outfits first then I found shirts for him that matched.

VM--I am stealing your puglet!! (all three are actually really cute, but I think its funny she lets DW hold her like that).

Don't forget to dress for the weather! It's getting cold here on the east coast-- don't be afraid to do some "casual" outfits with jeans, boots, sweaters, scarves, etc.

Our shoot is on Tuesday so I'm taking note of the poses! I'm wearing an orange sweater with a cream scarf and jean jacket. FH is in cream and blue plaid shirt. It's an outdoor shoot in "our" nature trail.

My FH and I used the colors I picked for the wedding(pink and black), for our shirts and then just jeans. Ours were taken at a local park last October.

We're doing ours soon and I just picked out my outfit. Since it's fall I'm going to wear jeans and an ivory sweater with brown heels. My only concern is that I don't wear heels often and we're doing ours around DC so we might be walking around a bit. I may decide to wear low heeled boots instead but I think the heels I have picked out look better. FH will probably wear jeans too and a flannel shirt or his favorite button up.

Yes another philly girl! Lol we got our pics done at the art museum too! Wear comfortable shoes! I wore heals the whole time and with all the walking n steps my feet Were beyond killing me! If you were thinking of heels maybe flat while walking around from location to location in between shots

We just did our photos yesterday! I spent time agonizing over what we should wear and finally said screw it and picked clothes we were totally comfortable in and that hopefully coordinated well. Yes. I wore flannel and was comfortable as hell. We already got a couple preview photos from our photographer.
