Engagement Photo Nails?

I chose a light pink gel polish. What are you wearing color wise?

My e sesh is coming up soon, too! I am planning on just going with a french manicure. It goes with everything and it just looks really clean and put together.

I had my cousin take a few quick pics of us until our e sesh this spring and I had red gel polish. They looked great! I wanted something that would make my ring pop and it did.

I went with just a nice, plain pink. I wanted my nails to look clean, since a few of the pictures were up close and personal with my hands.

I wore mine in a French Manicure...I was going to paint them red, but since I wore a hot pink shirt (my avatar), I don't like the way the two colors look together and think they clash

I did a french manicure with a small red heart on my ring finger. Like this but only the ring finger had the heart

My photographer told me to either do a french manicure, a clear coat, or a very light pink. She said she has had numerous brides get something done to their nails for the pics, and then end up hating how it distracts from any pics involving the ring. She has been doing this for a long time, so I am gonna follow her advice!

These were mine! I loved them Will be doing the same for the wedding but with silver glitter instead of gold.

Lol, when I read the heading I was picturing engagement photos ON your nails and thought, oh Gawd. I gotta see this.

I believe my e-pic nails were red. It was Christmas time and I'm a sucker for red nails. For our wedding, I did a blush/nude color with sparkles that I would probably wear every day of my life if I could.

@8815, DO IT! I LOVE them. Also, you can't tell in that photo but the glitter is just kinda brushed on, not like a typical french manicure. I'll post a closer photo and maybe you can see. It looks more like it's dripping than anything.

I just did a French manicure. I wanted something simple and classic, especially for those close up shots.

I did a French manicure on myself. I was kinda pissed though; I really fussed over it and made sure my nails looked absolutely perfect, and then my photographer never even took a ring picture! My nails don't show at all in my e-pics. I was surprised because I thought a ring shot was a given during an e-pic shoot.

I went with a soft pink. I didn't want them to be the focus, I just wanted them to look nice.

I did dark navy with a black glitter accent nail since it was fall. sort of visible in my avatar pic
