Engagement Party Time Frame??

My best friend got engaged 4 months ago and her wedding is this August. I threw a surprise engagement party for her in February and she was thrilled. I recently got engaged a month ago but am having a long engagement, about 2 years. Now she wants to return the favor and throw me an engagement party, but her schedule is so busy with her wedding and school she wants to wait until after August. Is that too late to celebrate our engagement?

No I don't think so ... because you are having such a long engagement ... I think it's perfectly acceptable to have one this fall ...

As long as its before the wedding have it whenever you would like! The benifits of having it later is by then you probably would have figured out the bridal party too. It can serve as a great chance for the BP to get to know each other before hand.
