Hi, everyone! I feel like we've been so busy planning everything else, that I haven't put much thought into our engagement party. We are going to do it at my parents house and we will be getting food from a local Italian Restaurant. But other than that, I have no clue what I am doing. Can you share your ideas for your engagement party? What type of decorations did you do? Did you do any toasts? Did you have a dessert table? Any opinions, ideas, and suggestions welcome! We had ours at my parents house, we decorated with candles and rosemary we cut from the yard. And we surprised my FH with donuts instead of a cake because he loves them. We didn’t do any sort of toast.

I always thought engagement parties are kinda similar to a birthday party minus the singing of course LOL so cake or desert yes, but probably not speeches unless you want to say a quick thanks for coming type
