Engagement journal: Anyone else doing this?

I've never heard of this, but I think it's really sweet! Start whenever you feel like it.

@Adoretamm just type in "reasons i want to marry you" on Etsy and you get a bunch like the one pictured that are anywhere from $6 - $20. I went to B&N and got a plain brown leather journal and I think I paid $10-$15, but they had some there that were $35 (not necessary lol).

Isn't it cute?! Pinterest, they think of everything lol. In December, I was finishing my Masters and I'd pulled an all nighter at my office because it was obviously quieter after hours. I got home and still had plenty of work to do (I think I was up 36 hrs that day), and I realized that I'd left my computer's power cord at the office 30 minutes away. It was almost dead and I was soooo tired, I could bare getting behind the wheel. I was almost in tears when my fiancé just said, "I'll go get it, don't worry about it. Go take a 30 min nap and I'll get it." He went all the way out there for me just for that. The whole time I was thinking, 'I need to put this in the journal right now,' but I napped instead and never put it in there! Haha, I will just haven't yet.

Oh, that's sooo adorable!! I love that idea. I always want to keep a journal...and can never stick to it...Maybe I'll actually try to do something like this!

I am doing this @ MrsBest2B I am not doing a entry every day but I am doing big events. I am calling them love letters.

I'm doing this! I tried to do every day and failed MISERABLY. Now it's just when I'm really feeling the love or when something particularly exciting happens. Mines an "I Love You Because..."

I did this. I did it for 6 months before our wedding and I gave it to H after the honeymoon. He read and once and forgot about it. I am still glad I did it though

@MrsBest2B we have the same wedding date!! I started a journal right after we got engaged in December, but I too have not done the best.. I may just start over on 6/18 of this year.

I got this one for Christmas from my parents (I think they got it from Barnes and Noble). It asks questions from our dating days and the proposal and different aspects of wedding planning and also about specific parts of the wedding day. I've filled out as much as I can and I like that it has some structure to it. If it was just a blank notebook I'd have no idea what to write! haha But I love having something to document the memories of the wedding planning process!

Thats cute, id never remember to write in it and im sure fh would never read it though hahha

I am terrible at keeping a journal - I just never seem to stick with it, but I love this idea! I doubt my FH would really read it or care about it, but it would be a fun thing to show the kids someday!

I am doing something similar. I knew I wouldn't actually write in it every day (or every week, if I'm being honest with myself) so instead I've been writing entries after we do anything big wedding related. I wrote an entry after we met with vendors or booked vendors, or on days when we spent time just discussing things like colors or bridal party attire. I'm going to give it to FH the morning of the wedding. I highly doubt he'll ever read it again, but I thought it would be sweet and it isn't too much effort to keep up with!

Total fail. We were having dinner and my phone was out. FH grabs it to look something up and this is the last online entry. Noooooooooo!!! He wasn't supposed to see this! Lol hopefully he didn't really pay attention and/or totally forgets about it!!
