I posted the video and some photos of the proposal on social media because my fiancé had it videoed on his phone and my sister shot the proposal.
I’ve seen photos of the couple where the girl is holding out her hand?

I didnt announce it. I was planning to before though. If I did I was going to post a photo up kind of subtly showing the ring off

We called or text our close friends and family right away, then announced on social media a couple days later.

We both posted this picture. My caption said “Finally becoming a Ramirez” and FH’s said “She said yes!” And that was our announcement lol.

I texted and FaceTimedy friends then put it on social media (FH did it on Easter with both of our families there so they already knew). My sister-in-law is a photographer and did a photo shoot of us after the proposal so I included a lot of those pictures when I put it on social media!

We called or text our family and close friends. We then figured out our bridal party and started planning and announced it after the new year (we were engaged November 3rd and announced it around January 5th). We also figured out our guest list during that time, so we would not feel pressured once we made the announcement to invite more. A lot of people commented things like congrats cant wait to see you on your day or hope to get an invite. So the late announcement did help us there and it also helped us to connect more in this phase before allowing everyone else in. But also having the late announcement made me have all the feels again lol.

We posted a pic of the tree my FH and brother carved. It worked wonderfully.
