End Time for the Reception

Typically the DJ announces the last dance, last call is announced, the lights come on...There are lots of ways to let them know the reception is over without explicitly saying they need to leave.

We put the end time on the invitation. We put 11 p.m. even though we have the hall until midnight. We know we'll have some stragglers, but we have to clean the place ourselves and we wanted to give ourselves enough time.

We are having the DJ announce the last song, put what times the shuttle bus is running until on our detail cards and are going to have a sign with ceremony time, cocktail hour time, reception time. This way people have a few reminders of when it ends.
