Enclosure Card in Invitations?

Dana, on November 20, 2010 at 9:34 PM Posted in Planning 0 8

If you put an enclosure card in your invites, what information did you include on it and what was the wording?

.

I need to put hotel info and our website but I'm not sure what else I can/should include. Obviously nothing about the registry.

I'm only going to refer people to the website which has all of the necessary information on it. Everyone is at least tech savvy enough to click the links and get what they need.

Our enclosure card was a magnet since the suite we got didn't include the card. on the magnet we put the website, & stated what they could find on there.

I am doing a map card besides teh RSVP in mine. The location isn't a numbered street adress so is harder to get to than a place in the city. We are getting married a an old rural school that is now an event hall.

We did a little insert with the wedding website address and the email for RSVPs. (The website had the registry info on it.)

We had a menu card, an accommodations card, and an RSVP card.

We included the most important basics for anyone who won't go online, or just needs the info at their fingertips: basic directions and attire were most important to us and then we directed them to the wedding website url for everything else.

It all just depends on what you want to put. In order to save postage you can add your wedding website on the bottom of the invitation in small print and then put all of the miscellaneous stuff on the website. However, if you insist on putting the enclosure card in the invite, you can include attire, meal options, parking prices, hotel info, flight info, activities for the out-of-town guests, a map, car rental info, RSVP info, etc.
