Emerald Green Wedding

Dana, on September 17, 2019 at 1:51 PM Posted in Style and Décor 2 11
Any ideas on the type of flowers for bouquets & boutonnieres and types of centerpieces might look good for a spring wedding with the colors emerald green, gold, ivory/pale pink? I love roses and calla lilly. Thank you!

Omg those are our colors too! I love seeing other Emerald & Gold weddings since its so rare. Pinterest has some good inspo pics. We’re having blush pink and ivory roses and hydrangeas. In my bouquet, there will be a couple green roses too! And theyre natural, not died!

I am having darker green and am doing the baby’s breathe for my girls. I wanted Lily of the Valley but I’m having a fall wedding and that was waaaay to expensive plus I don’t like the British royal family and I found out Kate Middleton’s bouquet was Lily of the valley.

I am also having an emerald green spring wedding Smiley smile

I wanted a lot of white flowers. I told my florist I wanted the big roses, not the smaller ones. We are also using some carnations and other flowers as well. I like big white flowers so we are using a lot of that and dark green greenery as well. I think you could throw in a few soft pink flowers as an accent. Maybe some peonies, carnations, or something. Hope you get it figured out!

It is almost impossible to find inspo for emerald green weddings! I love the roses & calla lily look, but not a huge fan of baby's breath. When is your wedding?

Daughter's colors were a darker hunter green, with pale pink, champagne gold, and ivory accents. The flowers were several shades of very pale pink & ivory roses and very pale pink & ivory hydrangea, with astilbe, and seeded eucalyptus. They were gorgeous! Lots of texture, but very soft.

I'm also doing green and gold..but a winter wedding.

Ferns or ivy for the emerald color! Hydrangeas can be green or white, roses, peonies, astilbe can be white or pale pink. Love Calla lillies!

I would do white roses and Calla lillies with green ivy and pops of pink astilbe. The vases can be gold for the centerpieces and the bouts and bouquets can have golden silk ribbon hanging down.

Our wedding is Green & Ivory & Black with pops of burgundy. I’m using eucalyptus & ferns for the greenery and I’m not 100% sure of the flowers yet.

White Roses, calla lily and babys breath would all look good in your color scheme with lots and lots of greenery. My wedding will be Emerald Green and Navy Blue. I've discovered the best way to get the emerald color in decorations is with vines and flower greens. Maybe single white rose with baby breath and a little gold ribbon would like nice? I love calla lillies but in my experience they dont tend to hold up well in boutonnieres or corsages. They would be beautiful though in bouquets where they are put into a vase of water during the reception.

I think a mix of ivory, pale pink flower with lots of natural greenery would be perfect.
