Email help. Common last name!

I have a common last name and have had problems creating a username or email with it. My FH also has a common last name, if not even more common than my current one. So that's fun.

I finally found one that worked by adding 2017 at the end, which is the year we are getting married. I've seen it suggested before, but have you tried a combo with your wedding date at all?

Did you try yahoo? Gmail had the ones I want taken but I got it on yahoo!

My maiden name was super common, and the best I could do was ********.*********.*************@*****.***

Can you change any of the letters to a number. Example and E to t 3 or a O to a 0

Oh no. I didn't even think about getting a new email. My current email is *****.****@*****.***. Actually good riddance. It'll be good to start fresh and not have to deal with all the junk mail I get now. But yes he has a super common name. So common I'll just say it : Smith.

I have a very common name. For Gmail, I had to do lastnamefirstname1@gmail

You can always do your new name initials and then the year you will be married. Mine is Barbergirl with our date for the wedding planning needs. My FMIL is pbarb. So if she lets me, I'll be mbarb ahahaha

My work does ****.*****@*******.*** or internally *****@*******.***. If we hired another Jane smith, she would be ******@*******.***.

There are a lot of conventions out there. If I were to make one and could not use my preferred, I would probably try first.last or first initial last name followed by a significant date. We use month and date of anniversary for passwords because it is significant. I would probably go that route if I couldn't get mine. :-)
