We are eloping and my family is a mess of drama. We not only want to elope bc we are young and personal plus financial reasons it makes sense, but bc the drama of it all is too much. Im in graduate school and im to the brim with stress as it is. We are getting married on the water in new hampshire by our friend and having a vow renewal when i graduate. I dont think its wrong to elope to get rid of drama, but remember that there is drama along with eloping as well. If family disapproves you won't hear the end of it (like us) but we know in the end on our wedding day it will be perfect, private and stress free.
