Elopement prices for Santorini

Robyn, on June 8, 2019 at 11:46 PM Posted in Planning 2 11
How much does the average elopement in Santorini cost for 2 people? We're getting quotes for things and Im wondering is 8k euros normal?! We were thinking 5k (7.500 euros with the travelling expenses). The thought of spending 10k just to elope is blowing my mind.

Santorini is beautiful. What a dream! I know I was deterred the first time I saw what it would cost to only travel there, not be wed there as well. We will save Greece for when we are older and the kids have grown up and left the house.

Hey Robyn! Congratulations on your engagement!! How long have you been engaged for?

A wedding in Santorini sounds absolutely amazing! Have you or your SO ever been to Greece before? I’m actually planning on going in September!

Elopement packages vary in price depending on what is included in the package. It is a good idea to shop around and get a good idea of what the price range is in your chosen area but that doesn’t always mean that the cheapest option is the one for you. Something might seem like a cheaper option but once you have sourced things that are not included in the package, you may realise that it costs the same or more than a different package you are considering.

I know it seems like a lot of money but you should also consider that spending a little more and making it your honeymoon as well is quite cost effective!

Hey Robyn! We just had an intimate wedding (<10 guests) in Santorini in June with around the same budget. It was perfect. I think 8k euros is plenty for just 2! We had a great wedding planner (Panos with LovWed) who helped us stay within budget, but also made all of our dreams come true!

We loved eloping in Santorini. You get what you pay for. What you quoted is correct. We talk about our planning process and you can see our “insta-edit” video. https://youtu.be/syxyv7dt1ea https://youtu.be/0mfxv7wpale We basically wanted a wedding, but with just us. Live musicians and fireworks too.

Get the planner! It was the BEST decision we could have made. From the moment we hired them, literally EVERYTHING has been easy breezy. They have been wonderful in keeping me sane and calm when I start going a little crazy lol as well as being a dream to work with. I have NO doubt that our elopement is going to be more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. 💙🤍
